Does AI have life experience? Does it have a personality? Not really, at least not the way people do. Today we talk with talented writer, David Perez, about the value of personal experience and having a point of view.
It's an unscripted honest conversation, and we cover a lot of topics. How do you motivate students to write when ChatGPT can write for them? What do you lose if you don't face the blank page? And how do suffering and joy help us connect with people and not robots?
David has worked as a copywriter and English Professor. He's also a published author, former Santa Clara County Poet Laureate, and the guitarist for the band ‘In the Ponds.’
